Two New Poems

Helloo peoples :P Alyssa here again.. with two poems that pretty much contradict themselves.. Haha. So yeah.. here they are:

You amaze me

You've betrayed me

You keep me on my toes..

You make me feel like someone special

And no one really knows.

You love me

You've hurt me

You're always on my mind..

Being in your life's a journey

And I never know what I'll find.

And here's one I wrote last night. I couldn't think of a title for it.. Maybe "Our Goodbye?"

Countless tears fell from my eyes

When you said your last goodbye.

One minute we're laughing, happy as can be

Then the next you said you had to leave me.

I hate this feeling of.. uncertainty

And it's just something I wish I could flee.

Forever and always I'll love you, you know

And it's breaking my heart just to see you go.

Like them? I think they're both really good :3 The last one is dedicated to someone.. and I really hope he sees it.

That's it for this post... OH one more thing :P Me and Maddie are going to make a Facebook Fan Page for this blog, to try to advertise it more, it'll be named "Positively Poetry," so keep an eye out for it[;

2 new untiteld poems

So I wrote these a few nights ago (both untitled)

Wherever I am,
Wherever I might be,
She's staring out onto the world
Waiting to be set free.
By someone who is kind,
By someone who is strong,
By someone whom she can depend on.

A day without you is like a day without life.
A day without love,
A day without light.
Words don't depict how I feel when you're gone,
Late night, Until the early break of dawn.

New Poem :D

Hola peoples. I just wrote a new poem.. I personally don't like it, because it's about school, but you might. Since school is starting in.. 4 days, I decided to write this poem :P So, without further ado, here it is:

Your stomach's in knots

Thinking "Okay, here I go.."

Walking out of your house

Then thinking "Oh no.."

It's your first day of school

Don't lie, you're scared

Even though you're ready

And you know you're prepared

"High school..." You think

As you're sent on your way

You pull up to the school

On your very first day

Seven classes

Gone by too fast

You breathe a sigh of relief

The day's over, at last!

Haha, like I said, I really don't like it.. But I had to post something xD
