Living For Now

Heyy everyone! Lyss here with two new poems! :D I really dunno what to say, so I'll cut to the chase xD The first poem is called "Living For Now" and I didn't name the other one.

Missing the old days
But Living for now,
Trying to move on
But I'm not sure how.
Days, months, years,
They go by too fast
And, before you know it,
The good times have passed.
But continue, we must
For our journey's not done
We have to start living
And have a little fun!

The wind in his hair,
The sun in his eyes,
Hands tied together,
Between us, no lies.

Hi there! This is Connor, and I will be a new poster on this blog. Not a old poster..new one xD Kay anyway, im really..CRAZY..and Insaine..I like llamas, and drawing..and writing poetry! (duh) Thats why Im on this blog. Well, since Im new here..I might as well show you a poem I wrote in..about 5-ish minutes? So yah, here it goes..

Is there a barrier?
   Keeping me away from this love?
Is there a cage?
   Falling down on me, from above?
I dont see how,
   You kept me away for so long...
Is it me?
   Who made this so wrong?
I wish I had,
    A time machine, to take me back.
To redo my wrong,
   Is it my love, that I lacked?

Hello incredibly incredible readers of this blog! Lyss (formerly known as Alyssa) here, with a new poem! Woot! xD So I just wrote this, and I needed a new post, so... here it is!

We dont realize how precious

Life really is

And we just dont decide

Who dies and who lives.

All we can do

Is wear a brave face

Even though, what we're showing,

Isn't really the case.

So let it be known

To one and to all

Life's all about the journey,

Dont be afraid to fall.

And that just about wraps up this post. Be sure to keep checking back, me and Maddie are working on adding a new author, and writing more poems!

The stars hold his smile,
The sun holds his face
The only thing he really wants
Is to keep up with his own pace.
The world is his life

How are you?
Is a simple question
Loaded with feelings
and mere suggestions.
No need to exaggerate
or make a big fuss
no need to orchestrate
or really even cuss.
Just tell me how you are
and maybe I'll consider
in the corner of my mind
to not eat you for dinner.


Heh, What I was trying to say in this poem is to keep things short and sweet. Cause yanno when you ask someone how they are and they make a huge deal about how their lives are horrible and junk and ya jst wanna eat them for dinner? Well yup thats bout all! Bye for now! ^^
