Just come back.

Just come back
So everything is right
Just come back
and turn on the light
Come back so we dont worry
Just please come back
In a hurry.
Why did you leave
In the first place?
All you left us was
an empty space.
Just come back
so everything is right.

What Happened?

Alright, so, kind of a double-meaning behind the title of this post. #1, What happened to all the posting of poems? Well, I dunno. But I'm gonna try and fix that. #2, The title of my new poem is "What Happened?" So, without further babble from me, here it is[:

What happened to the boy
That I was falling for?
What happened to the boy
That I truly adore?
What happened to the boy
With his bright blue eyes?
What happened to the boy
That lit up my skies?
What happened to the girl
Who made you really fall?
What happened to the girl
That you loved above all?
What happened to the girl
Who really loved you true?
What happened to the girl
Who always loved you?

That's it for this post... I'll talk to Maddie about writing more, and posting, so we can get this blog moving again!

The Beach

Hello readers of this blog! Ive been thinking about summer a LOT lately, and how I wish it would hurry up and get here already! So, I wrote this poem about the beach.. And hidden secrets and all that good chiz[: Okay, so I'll shuddup now so you can read:D

As the sun blazes,
Down upon me,
I stare down the sand,
Out to the sea.
I walk to the shore
Ice laps at my toes,
I bend down to the sand,
My secrets, it knows.
I write down my worries,
My troubles, my sins,
Which waves carry away,
And my healing begins.
The waves keep my secrets,
They don't tell a soul,
For my inner thoughts,
They're my own black hole.

So, what do you think? Well I'd love to hear your thoughts so COMMENT! We've had a lack of those lately...

Anyway, that's about it for this post. Adios for now, amigos!

What does it mean to you?

Hey everyone! So in Language Arts we've been talking about what poems potray to you! So here is a poem by Robert Frost that could have MULTIPLE different meanings.

Whose woods there are I think I know
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep.

So, now you would examine what this poem means to you. This is what I think.

The way Robert Frost is speaking seems like he is stuck on the edge of reality and death. Although it tells about him walking or riding to wherever he is going it sounds as though he is visting places he once lived or where he once was. Now the thing about this poem is the last stanza. Same rhyme scheme. Deep, keep, sleep, sleep. If he were to keep going the poem wouldn't end because of the rhyme scheme being the same. Now, the last two lines are interesting also because they are, obviously, the same. Now even though they are the same they could mean something totally different. The first could protray his living life when he was alive and the second could represent death.

So thats all for now. If you break poems down it helps you understand more about what the writer is trying to say!

Bye!

Turning in to a distater.

Hey everyone. I was working hard to make a reasonably GOOD poem for a while. I think I came out with a good one. There's been a LOT of ripped up pieces or paper, used pencils, and garbage bags in the use of writing this. I really worked on it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Without further talking, here is "Turning in to a disaster".

Her and I,
It just felt so right.
So far today,
We hadn't had a fight,

But one word,
Can start such a blight.
I cant do it,
This love has been light.
It floats along,
Then the plane takes a turn,
Right to disaster.
From these mistakes, I've learned,
You cant leave,
Without getting seriously burned.
I miss you,
For your love is the only I've yearned.
Now I'm a mess,
For you, I am continuously
 concerned.

Well, that's pretty much it. I will try posting more frequently, too! So I look forward to that... For the record, this took me about 10 minutes to write..mostly trying to find words that rhymed[; But I think its a pretty good one.
The poem means that if your going to love someone, your going to have tough times. Love is DEFINITELY not a walk in the park. Your gonna have crash-landings and your twists and turns. If your like me, and you have a lot of opinions on things, love will be tough. But you just have to stay strong, and not get burned out. Wait for the one you TRULY love and hopefully, the plane won't have any terrorists on board[;

Thanks for reading.

The Untitled Poem

HOLA EVERYONE AND VIEWERS! Yeah, so I made this poem yesterday and I dont really know a title for it, so if you want...Reccomend a title in the comments? Kay cool..enough blahlbahblah and I will just get to the main reason for the post[;

I see stars in her eyes,
But deep inside, is it just a lie?
I sat down everyday,
Doubting myself, while I cried.
It may seem that,
Day by day, my love dies.
I just cant find the cure,
But what I know now,
That love is not to fear.

I would like to know what you think, since its only my SECOND post. So yup, I really hope you liked it. Comment if you did, and comment to tell me if you think of a title idea.

Thanks,

New poem!

You called me a wimp
A wimp I am not.
I have gone through more,
more than alot.
You call me a wimp again
more pain you inflict
this pain causes
tears, rain and a tick.
